There are questions in SIMULME where different, simultaneous answers are demanded. The calculations are then based proportionally on your entries. To enter in such a question everywhere 80-100% shows the same effect as to everywhere enter 0-20%. In these questions only the relative proportions between the different percentages are important for the following simulations. This mode of calculation avoids the necessity of potential error messages and thus facilitates the playing of SIMULME."
"As vegetarian I declared as fraction of vegetables 80-100% and as vegetar-ian also 0% bio-meat. Can it be true that my animal friendly attitude affects in SIMULME the animal husbandry negatively?"
- Answer:
In your case, SIMULME interprets your entries as if you would purchase 10% meat (fraction of vegetables 80-100%=90%) and as if almost the total meat you buy would be non bio-meat. That is the reason why you will find the negative influence of your entries on the quality of the animal husbandry during the simulations. Our tip for vegetarians: envisage that you would cook meat once within 5 years for friends or acquaintances and declare what fraction of this meat would be bio-meat."
"Is it ever possible to reach the SIMULME environmental protection high-score of 5.0?"

Yes, 5.0 is the top highscore. The game authors Olaf, Jo and Ralf know how to reach this highscore. In the meantime also other players reached this highscore. To reach this highscore, it is important to assign your degree of influence at a high level at the beginning of the game, and of course to consume ecologically positive."
"When purchasing for the next five years, why are the last chosen entries not appear as preselection?"
- Answer:
Such a preselection would be convenient for the player. But it would also animate the players to leave their (game-) consumption patterns constant over the years. The aim of SIMULME is however that the players change their consumption patterns as a result of the feedback in the simulations and because of changes in their knowledge and attitudes. Moreover, the purchasing in SIMULME has been designed realistic in this way as you have to fill up your shopping basket of goods each time anew."
