The simulation game SIMULME gives you a feedback concerning the effects of your decisions of food purchasing by presenting economic-ecological scenarios for the development of Switzerland. The effects of the own consumption pat-terns are demonstrated in an exaggerated, but in the tendency realistic way. Thus this environmental game is an instrument, which emphasises the ecological and economic effects of own consumption decisions in order to clarify the positive effect of ecologically adapted consumption patterns. Hence, it is not a scientific instrument for the prediction of future ecological-economic developments in Switzerland but rather an environmental education game. In the
